Wormall Civil is a third-party accredited company to AS/NZS ISO 9001.
Wormall Civil operates a Quality Management System complying with AS/NZS ISO 9001. Regular internal and external auditing is carried out under the terms of the third-party accreditation. A full-time QA Manager and support staff are employed by the civil construction company, including dedicated QA/HS&E Site Clerks on the company's project sites.
As part of its Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) and in accordance with its QA accreditation, Wormall Civil actively seeks feedback from clients and consultants as to its ongoing performance. Feedback received is analysed by senior management and acted upon to reinforce and encourage good working practices by staff with a strong focus and commitment to continuously improve the company’s overall performance.

The Contractor's Scope of Works
The first stage of the project was divided into 2 phases.
Phase 1 involved the clearing of the site and the removal of any contaminated material. The site was visually inspected for any contaminated material lying on the surface and this was subsequently removed. Removal of any rubbish and green waste also continued.

Installation of Type 40 Wastewater Pumping Station:
The project includes a Type 40 Sewer Pump Station, 2.7km of 200mm diameter pressure main and 550 metres of 300mm diameter gravity sewer. The excavation for the pressure main is 11 metres from ground level and ends up 8 metres below sea level. The pump station pit is 1800mm diameter with the largest section on the base weighing 16.5 tonne.

Situated approximately 115 km north of the Newman townsite, the Roy Hill project is established on flat plains at the eastern end of the Chichester Range.
Commencing on-site in August 2012, Wormall Civil undertook the bulk earthworks and civil construction at the Roy Hill mine site, including the provision of all in-ground services for the mining camp/village.
